Frequently asked questions.
Everything you need to know about how postedby.ai works, what the plans include, and what to expect.
Understanding postedby.ai
What is postedby.ai?
A weekly authority publishing system. We build your Champion — a branded publishing identity — and use it to generate strategic content published automatically to Google, LinkedIn, your website, and social platforms. Engineered for AI answer engines, local search, and traditional SEO.
How is it different from AI writing tools or ChatGPT?
AI writing tools give you content, not identity. ChatGPT gives you an output. Neither builds a recognizable expert voice showing up consistently across every channel your buyers use. postedby.ai builds your Champion identity and a complete publishing system that runs every week.
How is it different from an SEO retainer?
SEO retainers give you reports and keyword lists. postedby.ai gives you a publishing rhythm — real content, real platforms, real cadence. We're not a strategy agency. We're an automated publishing system.
What is a Champion?
Your Champion is your branded publishing identity — expertise, point of view, audience, tone, local market, and authority signals shaped into a repeatable voice. It's what makes every post sound ownable and recognizable, not like generic AI output.
What is AEO?
Answer Engine Optimization. Content is structured so AI systems — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews — can extract and surface your expertise when buyers ask questions in your industry.
What is GEO?
Geographic + Generative Engine Optimization. Google Business Profile content and locally grounded posts build your presence in city- and service-level searches, in both traditional results and AI-generated answers.
Does postedby.ai guarantee AI citations or search rankings?
No. We guarantee consistent, engineered publishing. Authority compounds over months — search visibility, AI recognition, and local presence improve as your library grows. Results vary by market, competition, and topic selection.
Content & Publishing
What platforms do you publish to?
Google Business Profile is included on every plan. Social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook) are added based on your plan — Starter gets 1, Ascent gets 2–3, Authority gets the full supported cluster. Blog/website publishing is on Ascent and Authority.
What if I do not have a blog or website?
Every subscriber gets a hosted postedby.ai blog included at no extra cost. Starter uses the hosted blog with postedby.ai attribution. Ascent and Authority can connect their own website or use the hosted blog.
Can I connect my own website?
Ascent and Authority plans support connected website publishing to platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, and Wix (some connectors in development). Starter uses the hosted postedby.ai blog.
Do I own the content?
Yes. Everything we publish is yours. No platform lock-in.
Can I review content before it publishes?
The system is designed to run automatically. Authority plan includes topic editing. More review controls are being developed.
How long does it take to build authority?
Consistency is the mechanism. Month 1–3: Champion voice established, cadence live. Month 4–6: search and AI visibility can start to improve. Month 7–12: the library compounds and authority signals strengthen. Results vary by market and competition.
How long are the blog posts?
Typically 800–1,200 words per article, structured for AEO and local SEO. Each post includes H2/H3 hierarchy, a direct answer section, and structured data markup.
Contacts & Email Outreach
Can I email my contacts about published content?
Yes. All plans include the Contacts feature. You can add contacts and postedby.ai will send them a personalized email every Thursday about your latest published article. If a contact has company info, the email personalizes to reference their business.
What is the Thursday contact email?
Every Thursday, postedby.ai automatically emails your contacts list with your latest blog article, personalized by recipient. If a contact has a company name and domain, the email references their business and explains how the topic is relevant to them. Without company info, a warm template is used.
Is the email feature for cold outreach?
No. It's designed for helpful, relevant updates to people who already know your business — customers, prospects, partners, and referral sources. Not spam blasting.
Is the Contacts feature available on all plans?
Yes. All plans — Starter, Ascent, and Authority — include Contacts and the Thursday email sends.
Campaigns
What are Campaigns?
Campaigns are optional promotional content cards available on the Authority plan. Use them when you have something timely to promote: a coupon, new service, event, hiring announcement, seasonal update, holiday hours, or other business news.
Are Campaigns available on all plans?
No. Campaigns are Authority-only. Starter and Ascent subscribers use the regular Authority Deck publishing.
How do Campaigns work?
You write what you want to say. AI helps improve clarity, grammar, and platform fit without changing your meaning. You can upload an image, request an AI-generated image, or publish without an image. You select the posting day and how far out — up to 6 weeks.
Do Campaigns replace regular weekly posts?
No. Your regular Authority Deck continues publishing as usual. Campaigns are optional additions — one campaign card per week, up to 6 weeks out.
Do Campaigns create blog posts?
Not currently. Campaign content publishes to social channels and Google Business Profile. Blog generation from campaigns is planned for a future update.
What can I use Campaigns for?
Coupons, promotions, discount codes, new products, new services, moving announcements, seasonal pushes, events, holiday hours, hiring announcements, or any timely business news.
Can I upload my own campaign image?
Yes. You can upload an image, request an AI-generated image, or publish without an image.
Plans & Pricing
What plan should I start with?
Starter is right for most businesses getting started — one topic and blog article per week, Google Business Profile, one social channel, and contact emails. Ascent doubles your velocity and unlocks 2–3 social channels plus website publishing. Authority is for businesses building a deep, multi-channel content library with full analytics, no attribution, and Campaigns.
What does the Starter launch offer include?
During the launch offer, Starter is $197/mo (down from $397), the first month is free, and the $99 setup fee is waived — a total of $296 in savings before you pay a cent.
Why does Starter include postedby.ai branding?
Starter uses hosted postedby.ai publishing and visible attribution so businesses can start quickly without connecting their own website. Ascent uses lighter attribution, and Authority removes attribution entirely.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. You can move from Starter to Ascent or Authority as your authority library grows and you want more publishing velocity, richer insights, or reduced attribution.
