Why this is free.
People ask what the catch is. This is the honest answer, and it’s a little personal.
I was brought up Catholic in the Chicago area. As a teenager I followed authors like Deepak Chopra and Eckhart Tolle, drawn to the big questions even then. Still, if I am honest, I blindly believed in God well into my thirties. My Catholic upbringing was my foundation, and I never really pressed on it.
Then one day, at two in the morning on a random Saturday, I woke up and was never the same. That was my awakening. I understood, really understood, that my life was finite, and it shook me. That single realization is what started my search, what started me really kicking the tires. My spirituality fell apart, and it fell fast.
My belief did not hold. I felt life escape me. I had a wife and four kids and every reason to be grateful, and still I fell into serious depression, lost and scared, wishing I could go back to not having my eyes open. I was desperate to know what the point of any of it was.
Those were hard years. A divorce, chronic health issues, and plenty of other trials along the way. Money, politics, the material things people chase, all of it started to feel more like a distraction than an answer. I kept asking anyway. Since that morning I have interviewed more than four hundred people, looking for a real reason to live.
What I found in the end was simpler than where I began. The people I have surrounded myself with, the life I have actually lived, and what I have witnessed along the way, that is the reason I am still here. I am not living a perfect life. I am living the life I believe I was meant to live.
That is where postedby.ai and Voice to Community come from. During the week we help small and medium businesses grow through our paid plans. Voice to Community is the other side of that work. We take the same intelligent systems we built for our customers and use them to give something back. Daily devotionals for Churches. Meditations, wellness, and a little balance for the other places that hold a community together. We host the blog for every one of them, so there is nothing for the community to build or keep running.
Voice to Community is free. Not free for a while, or free until it isn’t. Free. It is free for Churches, and for a number of places that serve the community, yoga studios, recovery centers, senior living homes, schools and nonprofits, and the community organizations people lean on.
The only footprint we leave is the small, quiet postedby.ai credit at the bottom of each message. That is the only catch, and we will never ask the community for anything. No upsell, no card, no fine print waiting down the road.
To me, being able to give back like this is an honor. I support my local Church and my community, and I would love to support yours.
