Isaiah 11:9 says the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. That is a picture of saturation. Not a sprinkle. Not a few dry patches. Water finding every low place until there is nowhere left that it has not reached.
Covering the earth with God's Word has always started small. A Bible you actually open, and one person you are willing to open it with.
It is a big verse, and big verses can feel like they belong to somebody else. Missionaries, maybe. People with a platform. But the vision of covering the earth with God's Word has never started at the top. It starts in living rooms.
In the early 1960s, that is exactly where it started here. A handful of neighbors in a Denver home, an open Bible, and somebody willing to teach it. Within about a decade that one study had become twenty two groups meeting across the city. Nobody in that first room could have drawn a line from their couch to a television broadcast reaching more than two hundred countries. They just opened the book and taught what was in it.
Here is what that means for you. The reach of God's Word in your lifetime will be decided mostly by ordinary, repeatable things. Whether you read it. Whether you understand it well enough to say it out loud. Whether the people who share your kitchen table ever hear you talk about it like it matters.
You do not need a stage. You need a Bible you actually open and one person you are willing to open it with.
That is the whole method. It always has been.
