There are mornings when our hearts feel crowded before the day even begins. Jesus meets us there with a better word.
"Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?"
— Matthew 6:25
Today, Jesus calls us away from anxious striving and back to trust. Our Father knows what we need, and His care is steady even when our thoughts are not.
Worry can feel practical, but it rarely feeds us. It keeps our minds looping over bills, schedules, and tomorrow’s unknowns, while Jesus gently reminds us that our lives rest in the Father’s hands.
He is not asking us to pretend needs are small. He is teaching us to see that our value is greater than what we wear or eat, and our God is greater than what we fear.
So today, bring Him the whole burden. Let peace begin with this simple step, we are seen, we are known, and we are cared for.
A Word of Prayer
Father, quiet our anxious hearts and help us trust Your faithful care today. Teach us to rest in Your goodness and to walk in peace, knowing You will provide what we need. In Jesus’ name, amen.
